I have known Mathew Weel for the past 4.5 years while working alongside him at NZTA in the Safer Vehicles team. Matt is driven, hardworking, punctual and a real team player. He is one of the first to take up a new challenge, or opt in to assist with those who need help. He has the ability to keep a positive attitude through change, whether it be for better or worse.
His leaving is a great loss to the Safer Vehicles regulatory team and he will be greatly missed. On behalf of the team, I wish him the very best.Sam Van Lith
