Professional tennis returns to the Bay of Plenty this December, with the EVES Open World Tennis Tour once again taking centre stage at the Pāpāmoa Tennis Club from 15–21 December 2025.

Proudly sponsored by EVES Real Estate, the tournament brings together top emerging players from around the globe, competing for official WTA and ATP ranking points and more than $70,000 in prize money.

Now in its fourth year, the EVES Open has firmly earned its place on Tauranga’s summer calendar, marking the start of the festive season and showcasing the best of local sport, community and hospitality.

The week-long event offers spectators a rare chance to experience professional tennis up close, right here in the Bay of Plenty. The EVES Open attracts rising international stars and Kiwi talent alike, with last year’s draw featuring athletes from over 15 countries.

For Tennis NZ, the event plays a vital role in the national tennis pathway, giving New Zealand players the chance to earn valuable ranking points without having to travel offshore. And for locals, it’s a chance to see world-class competition on home soil, completely free of charge.
