Tauranga is set to come alive with the sound of music as the 63rd National Jazz Festival Tauranga returns from 27 March to 6 April 2026.

As one of Tauranga’s most loved and longest-running music festivals, the event brings together a vibrant mix of local talent, international acts, and community celebration. Even better, many of the festival’s experiences are completely free to attend, making it a must-do for locals and visitors alike.

At EVES, we’re proud to support events that bring our communities together and this is one of the highlights on the Bay of Plenty calendar.

A Festival for Everyone

The Tauranga Jazz Festival is known for its unique format, offering something for every kind of music lover. Across 10 days, you’ll find:

  • Live performances across bars, restaurants, and pop-up venues
  • The ever-popular Uptown Downtown Street Festival in Tauranga CBD
  • The relaxed and family-friendly Jazz Village at The Historic Village
  • A mix of jazz, blues, funk, soul, and contemporary sounds

Whether you’re wandering between venues, discovering new artists, or soaking up the atmosphere with friends, the festival is all about connection, creativity, and community.

EVES Scan & Win

While you’re out enjoying the festival, keep an eye out for the EVES Scan & Win QR codes, to be in to win a $250 Prezzy Card!

It’s quick, easy, and free to enter and you can enter once per day for more chances to win. QR codes will be hidden throughout bars, restaurants, lounges, the Uptown Downtown street festival, and the Jazz Village – so keep your eyes peeled as you explore.

Winners will be contacted directly and announced on social media on Tuesday 7 April 2026. EVES staff members are not eligible to enter.

Strike a Pose at the EVES Photobooth

We’re also bringing a bit of extra fun to the festival with the EVES Jazz Festival Photobooth on Saturday 4 April & Sunday 5 April from 2:00pm – 6:00pm at the Uptown Downtown Street Festival, Tauranga CBD.

Grab your friends, strike a pose, and capture a memory with our jazz-themed props and festival backdrop. Don’t forget to tag EVES Bay of Plenty and the Tauranga Jazz Festival when you post, we love seeing the community get involved.
